Randomly Accessed Memories
Disclaimer: Please do not confuse this page with this book by Jeff Burkhart
This webpage will be used to track vivid memories from my past that randomly popup in my mind. This is my rough note book that’s available to everyone, not my personal diary. Memories will be documented in the form of short and fragmented write-ups. The write-ups may or may not have takeaways / morals, but will be a true and unbiased documentation of real events. Names of people and organizations will be anonymized out of respect to the high moral and ethical values they hold in their lives.
The memories fall under the following categories (links write-ups that fall under multiple topics will be posted under each topic):
- Stories of a (Data) Scientist
- Volleyball, one of the greatest things about my life for ~ 20 years
- Volunteering, nobody else can play my role
- IIT Madras, the 4 years that led to the highest percentage growth in my life!
- Miracles, the most probable outcome of hard work and perseverence with very little left to ‘chance’
- F-school days, remembering the attempts made by others to convert me into a factory output
- Workplace(S) with a capital ‘S’ to denote how many times I was forced to change
- Travel: random strolls that took me nowhere, unplanned trips that went well, (hyper)planned trips that didn’t go well
- What the work are you doing?
